Cefdinir is a medicine used in the treatment of bacterial infections in many different parts of the body, such as bronchitis(infection of the airway tubes leading to the lungs), pneumonia; and infections of the skin, ears, sinuses, throat, and tonsils.  It is a cephalosporin antibiotics, which works by killing bacteria or preventing their growth.
